iNet How To

Log into the Spam Filter and Quarantine Logs

.) Open up a web browser and go to http://filter.inetinc.net

.) Type in your email address and your password given to you (the default password is password88.)

.) You will start at the welcome screen

.) Click on the Quarantine Tab if there are any emails in quarantine, otherwise click on the Logs tab to see what emails were allowed/blocked.

.) The Logs screen will show the ability to refine your search. By default it will pull all of the current date’s emails that are coming into the mailbox only. From here you may refine your search to a specific person, or a specific subject, etc.

.) Once the search is complete it will show different emails listed at the bottom of the screen. Within the action column, you may allow the sender (that person only) or the domain (the entire company). We recommend adding the domain.

.) The emailed quarantine reports that are sent on a daily basis will show you a list of the emails that were put aside as “questionable” emails. From here, you will be allowed to instantly add that domain or user to the safe senders list.

.) A tagged email will tell you that the file is very questionable but will allow it to pass through for your authorization to allow it completely. The tagged emails will have a [SPAM] tag in front of the subject. The email will have the options to add the domain or user once again, but this time it also adds the actual email attached so that you can open it up.
